All transportations depart from these meeting points every hour on the hour from 9 am until noon, local time. Transportation back to our meeting points from Playa Mia departs every hour on the hour from noon until 6 pm.

At Playa Mia, the maximum age limit for snorkeling is 70, and the minimum age requirement is 8. Book our snorkel tour and dive in for a closer look at the vibrant coral reefs and marine life around Cozumel Island.

The legal drinking age in Mexico is 18. You will need a valid photo ID as proof of age for the consumption of alcoholic beverages. Playa Mia reserves the right to refuse service of alcoholic beverages to guests who appear intoxicated, are unruly or underage.

Playa Mia is fully committed to protecting the ocean's environment, and we have joined the cause for our beaches to become a zone free of toxic residues from sunscreen, sunblock, suntan lotions, makeup, and any other product that may harm or affect the health of our coral reefs. We recommend you use a hat, sunglasses, comfortable and long-sleeved beachwear or a UV-filtering long-sleeved shirt for swimming.

Enjoy à la carte at La Velaria restaurant or our buffet service, which is included in some of our packages. If your package doesn't include this option, you may purchase it directly at the restaurant. You can also purchase our Open Bar option if you desire. Check out the fast-food options at the snack bar, located in the water park area.

We do not have a special menu for people with celiac diseases, though, you may find some options for you in our buffet and/or menu. Ask your host or waiter when you arrive, and you'll surely find something that meets your dietary needs.

If you are purchasing a Beach Breaks, you can purchase it at Playa Mia. However, we do recommend you make a reservation in advance since Playa Mia often reaches its full capacity.

Playa Mia is open from 9 am until 6 pm, from Monday to Saturday. Buffet service is available from 9:30 am to 4:30 pm. The pools and the ocean can be accessed from 9 am to 5:30 pm. The Floating Park is open from 9 am to 5:30 pm.

You can change your clothes in the restrooms or showers at our water park. We recommend that guests bring towels, hats, sunglasses, long-sleeved beachwear, swimsuit, sandals, and comfortable shoes.

It is possible to make a cancellation, though it will not be refundable since Playa Mia does not make any refunds for cancellations from our clients due to weather conditions, unless, the cancellation is done at least 24 hours in advance. However, it is possible to change the day of your visit without any extra charges.

Yes, Mexican tourists over 60 years of age can show their Inapam or ID at the entrance for exclusive discounts at our Cozumel beach and water park.

If you purchased any tour that includes transportation, go to your designated meeting point, where you'll find Playa Mia's staff to help you get to Playa Mia or where the tour you purchased takes place. If you did not purchase a package that includes transportation, you'll have to get to Playa Mia on a taxi or rental car at your own expense.

For the convenience of guests arriving on a cruise ship, we have designated meeting points near Puerta Maya, the SSA International Pier, and Punta Langosta. The meeting point for the Thriller Jet Boat Adventure is Playa Mia's Retail Booth at Royal Village Shopping Mall.

We provide special wheelchairs at the beach, and we have ramps available in different areas throughout the park. The wheelchairs cannot be reserved in advance, but you can ask our staff for a wheelchair as many times as you want. We are always more than happy to assist you with anything you need during your visit to Playa Mia.

We welcome guests of all ages but we do have a few rules to ensure that you can have a great time without any safety concerns. You must be at least 8 years old and no older than 70 to go snorkeling at Playa Mia. All children 12 years of age and younger must be accompanied and supervised by a parent or legal guardian at all times.

The easiest way is to get to Playa del Carmen and then hop aboard a ferry heading to Cozumel. Then, head over to Playa Mia's Retail Booth inside the pier. There, our staff will be waiting to provide you with the necessary information.

If you're staying in Riviera Maya or Cancún, Playa Mia can provide round-trip transportation from your hotel. You can also purchase the package that offers only round-trip ferry transportation. With this option, you can meet our representative at the pier's entrance, 30 minutes before the designated hour.

This discount is only valid when purchased at Playa Mia's entrance on the ticket office, with the corresponding IDs. If you live in Quintana Roo and have your INE ID or valid driver's license from the state, you'll get a 50% discount on our Beach Break and, 30 % discount on our All You Can Eat Beach Break and, Amazing Beach Break.

Yes, Playa Mia has several wheelchair ramps at the main facilities, special lockers in the restrooms, and special beach wheelchairs for sandy areas. These wheelchairs are neither for lending nor for renting - their only purpose is to move our guests from one place to another on sandy areas. This service is free of cost and can be requested as many times as needed. The wheelchairs are available on a first-come-first-serve basis.

Yes, we offer life vests for all of our customers. They are available in several sizes. The use of a life vest is mandatory for some activities and attractions.

WaveRunners are not available with any package. However, you can rent your own for an additional fee. Enjoy some high octane excitement as the sun and sea breeze make every moment more memorable. WaveRunners are available on a first-come-first-serve basis.

Yes, our Cozumel water park features a photo studio. Let our professional photographers capture the fun-filled moments and create memories that you will cherish for years to come. 

Access to the Underwater Mayan City is included with your pass. However, this does not include snorkeling gear. You can rent snorkeling gear at our Cozumel beach park if you wish to dive in for a closer look at Mayan culture and history.

All minors under the age of 12 and all non-swimmers must always be at arms-reach from a legal guardian or parent who knows how to swim and is inside the water at all times. The use of pools is not permitted for guests with skin diseases, infections, blisters, or subcutaneous wounds The use of pools is also not permitted for guests with irritated eyes, colds, flus, or contagious diseases.

Any guest under 12 years old must be accompanied and cared for by a responsible adult to be able to use beach toys. For the use of Hobie Cats, an instructor must accompany the guest. If guests wish to sail on their own, then they will have to provide proof of their capability to sail, preferably by presenting a document.

The maximum height is 1.20 meters or 3 feet and 11 inches, and maximum weight is 60 kg or 132 pounds. All children must always be cared for and accompanied by a responsible adult or legal guardian. Guests must not enter the pool with shoes of any kind.

The minimum height requirement is 1 meter or 3 feet and 3 inches, and the maximum weight is 113kg or 250 pounds. Guests must not slide the toboggans with any kind of bracelet, earrings, rings, sunglasses, hats, caps, clothing with zipper and buttons, or any kind of object that may scratch the toboggans surface. The use of cameras is strictly forbidden.

Yes, children are allowed on the Floating Park. However, children under 12 and non-swimmers must be accompanied by an adult at all times. This attraction is not permitted for guests with respiratory conditions, heart conditions, back, neck, limb, joint, or muscular injuries, asthma, diabetes, epilepsy, or for people who suffer from panic or anxiety attacks.

The minimum age requirement is 8, and the maximum age is 75. Minors 8 to 12 years old must always be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Minors 13 to 17 years old must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian, otherwise, the parent or legal guardian must sign a waiver that authorizes the minor to perform the activity without any adult supervision.

The minimum age to drive a WaveRunner is 18 years old, and an ID is required. The minimum age to participate as a companion is 8 years old. Participants who are from 8 to 17 years old must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. The use of WaveRunners is only permitted inside the designated area. All participants must sign a waiver.

Yes, you can rent your own snorkel gear for $289 MXN at our Cozumel beach park and immerse yourself in the Caribbean Sea for an enthralling underwater adventure. Dive in for a fascinating glimpse of Mayan history and culture at the Underwater Mayan City.

We have lockers available for rent by the pool area. The rental fee per locker is $102 MXN and an extra $102 MXN as a refundable deposit for the locker's key. So you can rest assured that your personal belongings are safe and sound while you have a blast at Cozumel's favorite water park.
