The Day Pass at Playa Mia packages have no transportation included, so you must take a taxi from your cruise pier or hotel to Playa Mia. The taxi ride is approximately 15 - 20 minutes from downtown, from the International Pier and Puerta Maya Pier the taxi ride is around 10-15 minutes. The taxi transfer to/from the beach is not included in the cost of the package. Playa Mia does not monitor these rates. Confirm rate before getting into a taxi.
PLEASE NOTE: Unfortunately, there are some taxi drivers who will say they do not know where Playa Mia is and try to take you to a different beach where they are paid a commission. If this happens, please find a different taxi driver.
The Day Pass at Playa Mia packages are "at leisure" programs, transportation and time in the park are under your responsibility and Playa Mia is not responsible for any delay or any guest missing their ship. Please calculate your time in the park according to your previous arrangements or your ship's all-aboard time.

Under age participants must be accompanied, directly supervised and cared for by a responsible Adult Companion, Parent (s), or Legal Guardian at all times.

Playa Mia requires, at its sole discretion, a valid photo ID as proof of age for the consumption of alcoholic beverage.
Playa Mia reserves the right to refuse service of alcoholic beverages to guests that appear intoxicated, are unruly or underage.
Minors will not be served alcohol even with parental consent.
Unassisted use of sailboats will be subject to approval by Playa Mia's staff. Guest will need to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary for their safe and responsible use.
Some beach services and attractions may be subject to age, height and/or weight requirements.
The use of any and/or all non-motorized water toy use will be subject to and in accordance with the laws, terms and conditions of use mandated by the Tour Operator, Local, State and Federal Authorities.
The number of non-motorized water toys offered complies with Cozumel's National Marine Park rules.
Non-motorized water toys are offered on a first come first serve basis.
We recommend that guests bring comfortable shoes, towels, hats, sunglasses, biodegradable suntan lotion, comfortable beach wear, swimsuit, sandals, and water shoes.
WATER PARK RESTRICTIONS INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO
All children 12 years of age and younger and all non-swimmers must be accompanied and supervised one-on-one by a parent or legal guardian who must remain in the water within arm's reach of the child or non-swimmer at all times. Older children should not be left in charge of younger children in the pool area.
Height and weight restrictions for the buccaneer's bay water toys - maximum height is 1.20m or 3 feet 11 inches. Maximum weight is 60 kg or 132 pounds.
Height and weight restrictions for the twin twister water slides - minimum height is 1 m or 3 feet 3 inches tall. Maximum weight is 113 kg. Or 250 pounds.
Use of the pools and slides is prohibited for guests with any skin disease, lesions, infections, open sores, inflamed eyes, cold, nasal or ear discharge, communicable disease, or who has any considerable area of exposed sub-skin tissues, open blisters, cuts, and/or is wearing any kind of bandage or band-aid.
The water park and attractions are offered on a first-come-first-serve basis.
Shoes of any kind are not permitted in the pools or slides.
Maximum of 8 guests are permitted in the hydro massage tub at one time
Use of the water slides is prohibited for non-swimmers, guests afraid of heights, persons under the influence of alcohol or while impaired by medications, pregnant and nursing women, guests with medical conditions such as: heart conditions, back, neck, joint or muscular injuries, or guests with physical disabilities.
FLOATING PARK RESTRICTIONS INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO
Guests must be aware of the game´s linking intersection and surfaces.
All children 12 years of age and younger and all non-swimmers must be accompanied and supervised one-on-one by a parent or legal guardian.
No diving.
Guests must be aware of signs on the games.
Pushing, acrobatics, wrestling, violence, any improper conduct or acts that might endanger the welfare of oneself or other visitors are not allowed.
Admission to the Floating Park may be refused to any person who is believed to be under the influence of alcohol, impaired by any drug or medication, or who is believed to create an unsafe environment for himself or others.
Guests must obey the instructions of the lifeguards or other park staff.
Eyeglasses are not permitted. In cases of absolute necessity, non-breakable lenses and frames may be permitted.
Guests with any respiratory or cardiac problems, back or neck injuries, asthma, diabetes or epilepsy are not allowed to use the Floating Park.
Visitors are obliged to use appropriate bathing suit that are free of rivets, zippers or other metallic accessories that may scratch the surface of the Floating Park.
All injuries should be reported to the park staff immediately.
WAVE RUNNER SAFETY REGULATIONS INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO
The participation in this activity is entirely at the guest's sole discretion, risk and responsibility.
The use of the waverunners will be subject to and in accordance with the laws, terms and conditions of use mandated by Playa Mia and Mexican Local, State and Federal Authorities.
The waverunner units are offered on a first-come, first-serve basis.
All Participants must sign a waiver.
Use of life-vest is mandatory.
Minimum age to drive a waverunner is 18 years old. ID required.
Minimum age to participate in the experience is 8 years old. Guests under 18 years old and above 8 years old must be accompanied by an adult and can only participate as ride-along companions.
For safety reasons use of waverunners will not be allowed for pregnant women, guests under influence of alcohol and guests with the following medical conditions: epilepsy, diabetes, asthma, cardiac conditions, respiratory or lung conditions, high blood pressure, back or neck injuries or guests taking any medication that might impair regular movements such as antidepressants, beta-blockers or base vein constrictors.
Use of Entrance/Exit lanes is mandatory.
Use of waverunners in the swimming area is forbidden.
Use of waverunners is only allowed in the designated area. Use of waverunners outside the designated area may result in cancellation of the activity and withdrawal of the waverunner with no refund.
Aggressive maneuvers such as jumping wakes or waves, sharp turns or getting close to other boats, objects or people are not permitted.
Keep away from intake grate.
Do not throttle when anyone is standing or swimming toward the rear.
SNORKELING TOURS RESTRICTIONS INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO
Playa Mia opens from 9 am to 6 pm local Cozumel Time. From Monday to Saturday
This tour is not wheelchair accessible.
Guests under any of the following illness/medical conditions are not allowed to participate: Pregnancy, asthma, heart disease, diabetes, epilepsy, respiratory conditions, blood pressure conditions, back/neck injuries, medicated/taking antidepressants, lithium, beta-blockers or base (vein) constrictors.
Minimum age 8 years old, maximum age 70 years old.
Minimum weight 75 pounds, maximum weight 250 pounds.
All participants must be: proficient Swimmers, in good health and self-sufficient.
Participants must be able to descend and climb boat ladder(s) for snorkeling activity at sea.
The use of a life vest during the snorkeling activity is mandatory. No exception.
Participants must comply with all of the instructions given by the Vessel Captain and/or its Crew.
Participants must comply with the specific rules of each individual activity inside the park.
Participants must comply with Cozumel National Marine Park rules of use.
Under aged participants must be accompanied, directly supervised and cared for by the responsible Companion, Parent (s)-or Legal Guardian at all times.
Alcoholic Beverages will be served AFTER the snorkeling activity and only while at sea.

Minimum/Maximum weight is 75/250 pounds.
All participants must be self-sufficient proficient swimmers in sound health.
Participants must be able to descend and ascend boat ladder(s) to/from snorkeling activity at sea and to snorkel over two reefs for up to 50 minutes.
The use of a LIFE VEST during the snorkeling activity is MANDATORY. No exception.
Participants must comply with all of the instructions given by the vessel's captain and/or its crew.
Participants must comply with the Cozumel National Marine Park's rules of use.
Under aged participants must be accompanied, directly supervised and cared by a Responsible Companion, Parent(s) or Legal Guardian at all times.
Alcoholic Beverages will be served only AFTER the Snorkeling activity.
