Playa Mia is fully committed to protecting the ocean’s environment, and we have joined the cause for our beaches to become a zone free of toxic residues from sunscreen, sunblock, suntan lotions, makeup, and any other product that may harm or affect the health of our coral reefs. We recommend you use a hat, sunglasses, comfortable and long-sleeved beachwear or a UV-filtering long-sleeved shirt for swimming

Enjoy à la carte at La Velaria restaurant or our buffet service, which is included in some of our packages. If your package doesn’t include this option, you may purchase it directly at the restaurant. You can also purchase our Open Bar option if you desire. Check out the fast-food options at the snack bar, located in the water park area.

We do not have a special menu for people with celiac diseases, though, you may find some options for you in our buffet and/or menu. Ask your host or waiter when you arrive, and you’ll surely find something that meets your dietary needs.

If you are purchasing a Beach Break, you can purchase it at Playa Mia. However, we do recommend you make a reservation in advance since Playa Mia often reaches its full capacity.
- What is Playa Mia’s schedule?What is Playa Mia’s schedule?
Playa Mia is open from 9 am until 6 pm, from Monday to Saturday. Buffet service is available from 9:30 am to 4:30 pm. The pools and the ocean can be accessed from 9 am to 5:30 pm. The Floating Park is open from 9 am to 5:30 pm.

You can change your clothes in the restrooms or showers at our water park. We recommend that guests bring towels, hats, sunglasses, long-sleeved beachwear, swimsuit, sandals, and comfortable shoes.

It is possible to make a cancellation, though it will not be refundable since Playa Mia does not make any refunds for cancellations from our clients due to weather conditions, unless, the cancellation is done at least 24 hours in advance. However, it is possible to change the day of your visit without any extra charges.

Yes, Mexican tourists over 60 years of age can show their Inapam or ID at the entrance for exclusive discounts at our Cozumel beach and water park.
