As a cruise excursion, a friend and I took the cooking class. It was so much fun. Definitely one of the highlights of our trip. The food we prepared was great . The chefs were a lot of fun and so personable. Will take this class again if the opportunity presents itself.

We were looking for something different to do on port day in Cozumel and stumbled across Playa Mia. We are so thankful that we did! We pre-purchased the package that included food and drinks and had an amazing day. It was very easy to get our day pass wristbands and were lead to the beach that had plenty of seating (tables, beach chairs in the sun or shade) and gorgeous views. It was not overly crowded and everyone had plenty of room to spread out and enjoy the day. The food/buffet was delicious and had many choices. Drinks were awesome, great variety, and excellent wait staff that kept the drinks coming all day long. Vico Rodriguez was absolutely amazing- he kept a close eye on our drinks and was right there with fresh drinks before we could even ask. He even saw us swimming in the pool and noticed our cups were getting low and before you knew it, there he was with a tray of cold beers and frosty drinks! The pools were great, they have plenty to do including an inflatable water park, various powered and non powered water toys, water slides, little shops with reasonable prices and massages. You could even rent a bed-type cabana for about $30/day! There were no pushy salespeople at all. I just can't describe what a picture perfect day it was- but I know on future cruises to Cozumel, we will be coming here again and again.
